I’m Lara, a freelance photographer based in the Michiana area. I photograph athletes who push limits- at start lines, on trails, and everywhere in between. Specializing in outdoor adventure, endurance sports, and running photography, I partner with race directors, running companies, outdoor retailers, non-profits, and individuals across Indiana and Michigan. When I’m not photographing a race, I’m chasing the light and taking creative portraits.

I don’t just photograph runners; I am a runner, with dirt on my shoes and miles logged on trails across the Great Lakes region to prove it. That lived experience shapes every photoshoot, giving me the ability to deliver images that tell a story and capture the determination, grit and sense of community that defines running as a sport.
