My journey in photography began in the early 1990s. I studied photography in high school and at the Kirk Newman Art School in the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University in 1996. I have a passion for visual storytelling that has deepened with each passing year.

I approach every project with careful attention to detail and a clear understanding of the creative process. I strive to produce high-quality imagery while ensuring a professional and positive experience for every client.

I often work in natural spaces. I’m committed to environmental responsibility and proudly practice the principles of Leave No Trace. Respecting nature and minimizing environmental impacts is an important part of how I work and create.
